I'm so proud of my students and feel so lucky to have such a great group of kids to work with!
The annual Scioto County High School Art Show, titled Visually Literate, opened at the Southern Ohio Museum last night. A reception for the artists preceded the awards ceremony. Artwork was selected for this show March 26 at the Education Service Center where 10 schools submitted 139 works of art for consideration. (Each school could submit up to 15 pieces.) Fifty one pieces were selected and awards were determined in seven categories. Minford High School is represented by 8 works of art by 7 students and we share the distinction of having the most work in the show with Portsmouth High School. Please congratulate those students listed below and if you have time, stop by the museum and check out the exhibit which will be on display until May 14.
