Carl Wayne, Keller, 77, of Minford, died Friday, June 11, 2010 at Heartland of Portsmouth.

Born June 19, 1932 in Pike County, Ohio, son of the late Oren O. and Serena Parker Keller, he was a retired master mechanic, he was a member of the Operating Engineers, he had worked for Lewis Shoemaker, Rish Equipment and Ohio Asphalt and Paving. He is survived by his wife, Joy Swords Keller; one son, Carl W. (Danielle) Keller, Jr. of Minford; one daughter, Debbie (Greg) Peed of Minford; seven grandchildren, Carl Wayne Keller, III, Candace Goody, Cassandra Jo Keller, Liberty Armstrong, Noah Peed, Abraham Peed, and Isaac Peed; nine great grandchildren, Mollie Armstrong, Owen Armstrong, Maggie Armstrong, Bodie Armstrong, Mark Peed, Zach Peed, Justice William Gage Keller, John Keller and Brady Keller; two brothers, Paul (Mary) Keller of Minford and Marvin (Donna) Keller of Jackson, and one sister, Helen (Emerson) Creech of Minford.

Funeral services were conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 13, 2010 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home with Robert Coffey officiating. Burial was in Mt. Carmel Cemetery near Minford.
