Word has been received by friends at Minford of the death of Mrs. Evelyn Akam, wife of Cecil C. Akam of Corry, PA, who passed away at Corry Hospital November 13 following childbirth.

 

Mrs. Akam, 23, was a graduate of Minford High School, Class of 1934.  She went to Corry to make her home with her parents five years ago.  She was married in October 1937.

 

Funeral services were held at Corry last Wednesday at the Corry U.B. Church, of which she was a member.

 

Mrs. Akam is survived by her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Campbell, three sisters, Miss Jane Campbell and Miss Patricia Ann Campbell and Mrs. Wilbur Sorenson, all of Corry; a grandfather, R.G. Campbell of Sciotoville Route 2 and a grandmother, Mrs. Albert Childs of Corry, PA.
