MINFORD HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 2024

GRADUATION INFORMATION 

GRADUATION PRACTICE REQUIRED 

Graduation practice will be Tuesday, May 21st  at 12:00 noon. Students should report to the high school by 11:45. You  are required to attend practice in order to walk in the ceremony on graduation day. If an emergency should arise,  please let Ms. Susie or Mr. Pica know as soon as possible prior to practice at 820-3445 during the  school day. 

You must be at practice until 2:15-2:30. Please do not ask to leave early. 

The class picture will be taken at practice.  You must bring your cap and gown for the picture. 

Put your name in your cap and gown.  It is not necessary to wear your dress clothes. 

You will not be allowed in the class picture without your cap and gown. 

FEES AND OTHER OBLIGATIONS 

Any student who owes fees or has items to return must do so no later than Friday, April 19, 2024. Your diploma  will be held until these matters are resolved. Notices will be mailed home. 

GRADUATION CEREMONY 

Graduation will be on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at 2 p.m. Graduates need to report to the auditeria no later than  1:30 P. M.   Doors will be open at 1:00. 

GRADUATION PICTURES 

Graduation pictures may be purchased for $25.00  at: studio2184.hhimagehost.com    (checks made payable to Studio 2184 ).  The package will include a 5x7 photo of the graduate and an 8x10 of the  graduating class. 

HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERS 

National Honor Society Sashes may be purchased with the senior advisor  (approximately $21.00) by April 12th.  Make checks payable to Minford High School, although cash is preferred.  A limited number of sashes are available to borrow and are distributed on a first come, first served  basis. Honor Society sashes that are borrowed from the school must be returned immediately following  the graduation ceremony.   

GRADUATION ATTIRE 

This is a formal event.  Do not wear shorts, t-shirts, or flip flops..  Clothing should meet the school dress code.  Section 3 of the student handbook has complete information  about graduation attire. It is the responsibility of the graduate to read this prior to graduation. The student handbook can  be found on the high school website.  ONLY National Honor Society sashes and the Scholarship 4-year medal are the additional items that may be worn at Graduation. See Mr. Pica or Ms. Susie  if you have questions.

SEATING is on a first come first serve basis.  Doors will open at 1:00 to the gym.

PAYMENT BY CHECK 

If paying for any of the above items other than extra announcements by check, please make the check payable to Minford  High School. This includes fees, fines, honor sashes, and any other obligations the student might have. 

SENIOR ASSEMBLY 

There will be an end-of-the year Awards assembly on May 21st at 9 a.m.. Graduating seniors,  parents and grandparents are welcome to attend the assembly. 

SENIOR COOKOUT A senior cookout, sponsored by Mr. Pica, will be held on Tuesday, May 21st  between the senior awards assembly and graduation practice.
