Ivnal R. Shoemaker, 41, of 1141 Delta Avenue Cincinnati, a native of Scioto County, died of a heart attack Monday at the home of a brother-in-law, Clyde Manker of Davis, California.
Shoemaker, on vacation, had been visiting at his brother-in-law's home.
He was born in South Webster on August 4, 1920, a son of John Robert and Cinda Cole Shoemaker.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Clara Manker Shoemaker of the Cincinnati address; his stepfather and mother, Daniel and Cinda Reffitt, 4232 Sterling Avenue, New Boston; a brother Lloyd D. Shoemaker of South Webster Rt. 1; a sister, Mrs. Lorraine Coriell, 4230 Sterling Avenue, New Boston and five nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.
A 1938 graduated of Minford High School, he had attended Rio Grande College and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star in Cincinnati. He had served three years in the Air Force in World War II and was employed as a Pennsylvania Railroad Company machinist in Cincinnati.
A funeral home at Mt. Lookout in Cincinnati is in charge of arrangements.
