**Mr. Lloyd had an accident this past week and will be out for at least two weeks for recovery.  He has a broken leg, torn ligaments, among other things.  Please contact Mrs. Picklesimer while Mr. Lloyd is recovering.**

Welcome to the Minford Middle School website. This site has been developed for you to better understand our school culture and events. Our goal is to bring everyone closer through the use of technology. Our school administration is extremely proud of our students and staff and their achievements.

To our newcomers, our school district is located in the southeastern part of Southern Ohio located in the rolling hills of Scioto County. We are about 10 miles north of Portsmouth, Ohio and the Ohio River and about 85 miles south of our state capital, Columbus, Ohio. Our middle school has approximately 630 students in the building. Our grade range is from grades four through eight. Our staff takes tremendous pride in their work with our students. Our district and building has a solid reputation as place where academics are placed on a very high priority. We also realize that students need a safe, nurturing school environment in which to grow and develop into young adults.

We encourage you to visit this website and gain insight into our middle school. It’s is our goal with our positive school staff, and a strong academic climate your child will mature and develop into an outstanding young adult.
