KRONK, Maude Lovelle Allen 89, was born May 24, 1918, in Scioto County Ohio, the eldest daughter of the late Everett and Maude (Shear) Allen passed away on Thursday, May 01, 2008 at the Springfield Regional Medical Center - High Street Campus after a lengthy illness.

 

She is survived by three sons and spouses, Harold Sr. and Elaine Kronk of Minford, Ohio; Charles and Janie Kronk of Springfield, Ohio; Michael Kronk of Springfield; Ohio and daughter-in- law Mrs. (Howard) Carla Kronk of Springfield, Ohio; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great granddaughters; a sister Opal Murphy of Portsmouth, Ohio and one brother, Eugene Allen of Louisiana; four sisters-in-law; Edna Allen of Georgia; Joyce Allen of Minford, Ohio; Mary Avanell Kay Deemer of Sciotoville, Ohio and Catherine Rolfe of Minford, Ohio.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Kronk, in 1994; two sons, Paul in infancy and Howard Eugene Kronk in 2005; a daughter, Joyce in infancy; a granddaughter, Sherrie in infancy; a grandson, Steven Allen Kronk in 1995; a great grandson; brothers Orval E. Allen, Clifford W. Allen, Elmer Arlen Allen; one sister Doris G. Whittaker, and a sister-in-law Mabel W. Humphries.

 

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2008 from 1-3:00 p.m. in the Littleton & Rue Funeral Home where services will begin following visitation at 3:00 p.m. with the Reverend Richard McDaniel officiating. Viewing will also be held Monday, from 1-2 p.m. the Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home, 6710 Swauger Road, Minford, Ohio with services to begin at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Donald Noel officiating. Graveside services will be held at the Mount Carmel Cemetery, Mount Carmel Road, Minford. The family would like to extend "a special thanks" to the doctors, nurses and the Community-Mercy Hospice a very special thanks to the staff of 2 south at community and her great granddaughter Amanda Loges.
