April 2011 News:
Current 6th graders are required to have a Tdap booster to enter 7th grade in the Fall.
A FREE immunization clinic is being held at the Elementary gym area on May 6th from 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-3:00.
All you need to do is bring your child and their immunization record.

Dear Parent/Guardian
If your child is sent home from school with a fever or has a fever in the evening or night, please keep him/her at home.
Your child needs to be fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medications such as Tylenol or Motrin before returning to school.

Vision & Hearing:
Screenings are performed throughout the school year. Grades included are as follows:
Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th (vision only), and 9th.
If your child fails a hearing and/or vision test, a referral letter will be sent home in the mail.
Ohio University Immunization Van
The Ohio University Immunization Van will be at Minford Elementary Gymnasium area on May 6, 2011 from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. All immunizations are FREE for children ages birth to 18 years old.
You will need to bring your child AND their immunization record.
This is a great opportunity to receive your child's boosters for Preschool, Kindergarten, 7th grade and college.
