MILAM, Willard Erwin age 94, of Beavercreek, passed away on April 2, 2012.

He was born on September 13, 1917 to the late Russell and Ida Milam.

 

In addition to his parents, Willard was preceded in death by his two brothers, Paul and George Milam and granddaughter, Angie Milam.

 

Willard is survived by his wife of 73 years, Helen Milam; four children, Dean Milam, Chuck (Kathy) Milam, LeRoy (Donna) Milam and Brenda Milam; 5 grandchildren, Lisa, Jeanette, Dan, Jeff and Steve; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Pauline Wright, of Minford, OH; and other family members and good friends.

 

Willard attended Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene. He was also a member of the Masonic Temple. Willard was an entrepreneur owning and selling several tool and die shops in the Dayton area before retiring from General Motors after 10 years of service.

 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Trinity Community-Beavercreek, for all their excellent care and support.

 

A funeral service will take place on Saturday April 7, 2012 at 11:00 am at Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene, 1850 N. Fairfield Rd, where the family will receive friends for two hours prior from 9:00-11:00 am. Burial will take place at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
