Catherine Evelyn (Kronk) Rolfe, 88, of Minford, died Friday, July 12, 2013, at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth.

Born April 8, 1925 in Scioto County, a daughter of the late John and Anna Catherine Pfleger Kronk, she was a 1943 graduate of Minford High School, was a cook for Minford Local Schools, and a Scout Master for Cub Pack 52 of Minford. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and went to church for 33 years without missing a Sunday.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Leonard Rolfe; two sons, Dana Rolfe of Minford and David (Marie) Rolfe of Minford; eight grandchildren, Kayla Rolfe, Zach Rolfe, Dakota H. Rolfe, Joseph Rolfe, Shenandoah Rolfe, Bella Rolfe, Brianna Rolfe, and one great granddaughter Madalyn Donini. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Kronk and three sisters, Lois Kronk, Mary Avanelle Deemer and Mabel Humphries.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2013, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Rev. Tom Williams officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Minford.
