NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY OF REGULAR ROUTES

Public notice is hereby given that Clayton Clark has filed with the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio an application for a certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to transport persons over a regular route extending between Minford and Portsmouth, Ohio.

Number and capacity of vehicles to be used:  One bus, twenty-four passengers.  Number of trips to be made:  seven daily, three Sunday.

MINFORD BUS ADDED; Hourly Schedule Maintained by Clayton Clark

A second bus has been added to the Minford-Portsmouth line operated by Clayton Clark of Lucasville, it was announced today.

Hourly service is maintained over the Harrisonville Pike route between the two terminals.  The first bus leaves Minford at 6 a.m. and the last leaves Portsmouth at 11 p.m.

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

During the past twelve years, I, Clayton Clark, have been serving the public with transportation, and I want to continue to do so, but in order to continue service you will have to stop riding with other people and ride the buses.  Since 1939 your fares have been raised only one time, and then only 5 cents, and I am trying not to raise the fares now, but unless you do ride I will be forced to take off some of the trips or increase the fares.  Remember, I carry big insurance to take care of passengers and you are not insured when riding in other cars.  All I ask you do to is ride the buses.  Clayton Clark, Clark Bus Line

NOTICE OF APPLICATION

Public notice is hereby given that a joint application has been filed with the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio to transfer Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 204-285 from Clark Bus Line, the present holder thereof, to West Side Bus Company, the transferee agrees to adopt all tariffs and schedules now on file with the said Commission.  Interested parties may obtain further information as to said application by addressing the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, Columbus, Ohio.
