The 2011 Minford High School Football Homecoming will be held Friday, October 7, 2011.
The Falcons will host the Northwest Mohawks. The Homecoming ceremony will begin at 7 pm.
Reigning over this year’s homecoming is Queen Olivia Pica, daughter of Jeff and Nancy Pica of Minford. She will be escorted by Captain Kyle Snyder, son of Tony and Angie Snyder of Sciotoville, and Captain Tyler Gaines, son of Gary and Amy Gaines of Portsmouth. She will be crowned during the pre-game ceremony by Captain Kyle Shonkwiler, son of Gary and Brenda Shonkwiler and Natalie and Chuck Shigley of Wheelersburg, Captain Erik Gambill, son of Gary and Lena Gambill of Wheelersburg and Captain Colbie Griffith, son of Jon and Tammy Griffith of Minford.
Lauren Johnson, daughter of Chuck and Joni Johnson of Lucasville, is the senior attendant, and will be escorted by Nate Caudill, son of Scott Caudill of Wheelersburg and Becky Caudill of New Boston.
The Career and Technical Center attendant is Kasey Lafferty, daughter of Tony and Diane Lafferty of Minford. She will be escorted by Sean Berry, son of Rhonda and the late John Berry of Minford.
Shyann Parker has been chosen to represent the junior class. She is the daughter of Ruth Parker of Portsmouth. Austin Oesch will be her escort, son of John and Lori Oesch of Portsmouth.
The sophomore attendant is Gabby Grose, daughter of Rick and Sue Grose of Portsmouth. Her escort is Jared McCray, son of Shaun and Lisa McCray of Portsmouth.
Morgan Henson will be representing the freshman class and is the daughter of Brian and Lisa Tackett of Minford. Her escort is Grant Piguet, son of Eddie and Kim Piguet of Portsmouth.
Flowers will be presented to the court by the Junior Class Officers: President Cody Soard, Vice President Sean Berry, Secretary Jacob Book and Treasurer Josh Blevins.
