MARY JANE ADAMS
November 2, 1934 - March 4, 2017

MINFORD — Mary Jane Adams, of Minford, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington.

Born November 2, 1934 in Lucasville, a daughter of the late Roscoe and Grace Crabtree Days, she was a graduate of Valley High School, was a former employee of Williams Manufacturing, Kalb Home Interior and Martings Department Store. She was a sub-cook for Minford Local Schools and attended Minford Bible Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheryl (Butch) Buckle of Minford; stepson, Trent (Carol) Adams of Lucasville; stepdaughter, Trina Adams of New Boston; five grandchildren, Brandy, Tad (Ashley), Morgan, Britney and Melissa; four great grandchildren, Sarah, Hunter, Mason and Luke, and one sister, Audrey Cottrell of Jasper, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James W. Crabtree on April 26, 1973; her second husband, Robert Lee Adams on October 2, 2014; two brothers, Harold Days, Roscoe Days, Jr., and one sister, Betty Gilliland.


The family wish to thank Minford Squad 3, Minford Fire Department, Health Net-Med Flight and staff at St. Mary's Hospital. The family appreciates all the prayers and support from the community.


Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Brett McGraw officiating. Burial will be a Scioto Cemetery in Lucasville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
