Meade School
The Meade School was located in Section 35 on the 1875 Harrison Township map. According to one of his descendants, George Washington Coldiron helped build the school. The school was located near the Dixon Mill.
In 1883, the Directors of the school were: Alfred Boyer, William Marsh, and Noah Dickson. There were 40 students enrolled in the school at that time.
While the building was being used as a school, it was also being used as a church by various congregations.

Around 1937, the students from the Meade School were sent to the newly built Sunshine School on State Route 335. In the late 1940's T. G. Scott purchased the building and organized the Meade First Pentacostal Church who held services in the building until 1956.
