The Portsmouth Times, October 9, 1956 - BOYS BLAMED IN THEFTS, DAMAGE AT DRUG STORE
Mrs. Nancy Parker reported to the sheriff's department Monday night that a group of boys has been causing damage and stealing merchandise at her Minford drug store.
She said youths broke a showcase glass and damaged a pinball machine during business hours. Mrs. Parker also reported the theft of four boxes of .22 caliber rifle shells and 18 bottles of nail polish.
