Grand March & Prom

Date: Saturday, May 5, 2018
Time: 8:30p.m. to Midnight (do not arrive early)
Location: Minford
High School Gymnasium
All juniors and seniors must register in order to attend the
Prom. You may not register a guest other
than your own date (dates will not be admitted under 9th
grade)! Prom tickets will be sold Monday, February 26th, through Friday, March
9th, during lunch in the auditeria. Mrs.
Compton will also sell them after school in her room at the elementary building. Mrs. Hayward will have them before school and
after Wed.-Fri.. Guests who are not
students at Minford High School must return a Guest Contract Form before the
Prom. This will happen closer to Prom.
All tickets are $25.00.
Juniors will get $1.00 off of their ticket price for each magazine they
sold. Tickets must be purchased during
the above dates.
Prom Voting
will be available a form to be shared on Google Docs. Once submitted, your vote will then be
counted.
PICTURES: Prom pictures will be taken at the high
school from 4:00p.m. - 6:00p.m. prior to and after The Grand March
Ceremony. Life Touch will be set up in
the Auditeria.
VIDEO: John Switalski plans to video the Grand March
and possibly part of Prom. DVDs can be
ordered that evening from him for $20.00.
After he delivers them to the school, any other orders will be $25.00.
GRAND MARCH: Anyone interested in participating in
The Grand March Ceremony must meet in the High School no later than 5:30p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018. The Grand March line will be in the hallway by the locker rooms. There will be signs posted as to the path for Grand March. Remember, hundreds of family members, friends, and community members gather this evening to see you at your best and to take pictures. We’ll do whatever we can to make the evening one of your best; however, we do need your cooperation during this process. Mr. Jeff Pica will be the Master of Ceremonies of Grand March.
Food: A snack buffet will be available at The Prom
for your enjoyment.
Parents must leave the high school as soon as they are
finished taking pictures. The decorations for Grand March are also the
decorations for Prom and must not
be removed until after Prom is over!
PLEASE DO NOT STEP ON THE LIGHTS LINING THE FLOOR if we use them. IT LEAVES GLASS ON THE FLOOR AND MANY TAKE
THEIR SHOES OFF AT THE DANCE.
FYI - There are other proms the night of ours. If you need reservations of any kind, you
might want to get them early! There is
also a community sponsored after prom going to be held at Minford Middle School
Gym. There will be many activities,
food, games and lots of prizes.
