I am Brookelynn Rose McBee, the new 2015 Miss Minford. I am very humbled to have been given this prestigious opportunity to represent The Mighty Minford Falcons in this year’s 2015 River Days Pageant. As for who I am, I am the daughter of Justin and Jennifer McBee of Minford; I have an older brother “Austin” and a younger sister “Whitney”. Core values are at the foundation of who I am, thus my faith, my family, and my academics are the #1 priorities in my life. With these core values in place I have high aspirations and desires to one day become a surgeon and aide in cancer research. I’m a member of the National Honor Society, a three year Varsity Cheerleader; participant in track and tumbling, a member of Red White and Youth Council, The American Red Cross, Spanish Club and Bible Club. Being involved in many extra-curricular activities at Minford High School has molded me into the young lady I am today and will continue to do so as I mature into a young adult. Also, I am very blessed to be a part of Tick Ridge Free Will Baptist Church where I am very active in my youth group.
I have been fortunate enough to be involved in various activities that have allowed me to give back to my community. I am so thankful for the support and love from my parents, brother, sister, grandmother, and other family members. Their love and encouragement have been truly amazing as my family continues to be my motivation and support in all that I have accomplished.
In addition, I would also like to give an immense thank you to my pageant mom, Melissa Cron, and to Kristen Swords, for their support, as both will be embarking on this amazing journey together with me. Also, to the entire Minford Schools Faculty, Coaches, Friends, Community and my peers at Minford High School, I appreciate everyone putting faith in me with hopes to once again restore the crown back to the Mighty Minford Falcons for only the 3rd time in 39 years.
In closing, I want to give thanks to God for all his many blessings -- with God on our side we can achieve anything.
