Sunshine School
Sunshine School was located on Route 335 in Harrison Township. The one-room school was located on Route 335 at the end of the Peach family driveway.
A new building was constructed and dedicated in 1936 on Route 335 south of the original school. The building was used from 1936 to 1968. In the fall of 1968, the students were consolidated with students in the Minford High School building. At that time, the Minford High building housed students in grades 1 - 12.
In 1955, updates were made to the building: 3 rooms, 3 new exit openings, and a corridor were added. A cafeteria and equipment was added. New outside and inside doors with hardware were added. Drinking fountains, a wash basin, and a stoker were installed.
The building was sold in June of 1970 for $13,200.
