DEDICATE SWAUGER VALLEY CHURCH
Crowning the devoted efforts of a faithful little group of worshippers, who for the past 20 years have held their Sabbath services in a country school house, yesterday a church was dedicated in Swauger Valley.
For the past two years the pastor, Rev. A. L. Baldridge, has worked to make the church a reality.
About 500 persons attended the dedicatory services. The opening exercises, reading of the scriptures and prayer, were conducted by the Rev. W. A. Hay of Elliott County, Kentucky. The dedication sermon was preached by Rev. William Williams of Sciotoville and special music was furnished by the Cooper brothers and Miss Bertha Sexton of Fullerton, Kentucky.
