We would like to remind you that there
is no school for students on Monday, March 16th. Our CTC is still
open, however, so any students who attend the CTC will need to meet the bus at
Minford High School to ride to the CTC. They will also need a ride home that
afternoon.
Due to the mandatory school closure,
we will not be in session from Monday, March 16th through Friday,
April 3Rd. At this point, students are scheduled to return to school
on Monday, April 6th. Instructions were provided to all students in
attendance today about the instruction they will need to complete while school
is closed. Students will begin completing assignments on Tuesday, March 17th.
If your child was absent or you need to make arrangements to pick up their
work, please contact the school office for your child’s school building. All
online materials for students in grades 4-12 can be accessed from the main page
of the Minford website.
Teachers will be available via email
throughout the closure to help students and parents with completing the work
that has been assigned or will be assigned in the future. Please feel free to
reach out to them as needed.
Most importantly, we want to ensure
all students who may need food during this closure have access to it. We have
posted a survey on our website for any families who may need help feeding their
children. If you are unable to use the online survey, you may also call the
office in the building your child attends and they will take your information
to add you to the list for food assistance. We ask that you only request this
service if you truly need it. Our goal is to offer as much help as we can to as
many students as possible who may need it.
Also, as of this afternoon, all spring
sports practices, scrimmages, and games are cancelled through April 5th.
This cancellation also applies to all school activities, concerts,
performances, and meetings.
