Betty Ruth Gregory Sexton
March 29, 1938 - October 17, 2019

Betty Ruth Gregory Sexton, 81, passed away today 10/17/2019.

She was a graduate of Minford High School, Class of 1956. She was born, somewhere deep in the hills of Kentucky, to John and Lucy Gregory on March 29, 1938. She was one of three children, Pauline Kuhns Day (William Day), and William Earl Gregory (Connie Gregory).

She married Donald E. Sexton of Minford on May 27, 1957. They were married for 63 years. They had two children Rock Sexton and Randy Sexton. She had three grandchildren Paula Kinder (Joe Kinder), Scott Sexton (Timothy McIntyre) and Auston Sexton (Ashley Sexton). She also had three great-grandchildren Jacob Andronis, Emily Jo Kinder, and Penelope Lucille Kinder. And many many loved cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Before moving to Ocala, Florida she worked at the Portsmouth Bank (Minford Branch) as manager for many years. She and her husband moved to Silver Springs, Florida in 1983. She retired from Sun Trust Bank in Anthony, Florida after many years of management services.

After retirement she worked for many years at Silver Springs Attraction in Silver Springs, Florida. She was an avid walker and raise money for many years walking for the March of Dimes. Every opportunity she got she was at the beach. She loved her fast cars and always enjoyed getting out with my Bopbop and taking their old cars to car shows, winning more trophies then the shelves could hold. She was always loving and supportive to her children and grandchildren and the different paths we all took in life. She loved her country music and loved to travel to Nashville for many events especially Fan Fair. Her favorite of all was Alan Jackson. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her and loved her. There will be no services as she requested for many years.
