Wesley Branch Rickey

December 20, 1881 - December 9, 1965

Branch Rickey was born on a farm in Madison Township, Ohio.  Some records (including the biography that he wrote) indicate that he was born in Stockdale, in Pike County, Ohio.  However, property maps at the time of his birth show his father's farm was well into Madison Township in Scioto County, Ohio.  This area is in the Minford Local School District.
