Dan Dean Havens, 69, of Minford, died Monday, April 16, 2012 at Southern Ohio Medical Center.

Born August 8, 1942 in Scioto County, a son of the late Chester Edwin and Sylvia Warren Havens, he was 1960 graduate of Minford High School and helped with the Minford Alumni Association.

He was employed in the sales department of Carter Lumber and was in sales and a representative for Sherwin-Williams.

He is survived by one daughter, Danielle Havens (Will Colley) of Minford; one son, Christopher (Elisa) Large of New Boston; two grandson, Wyatt Havens, Kyller Large; two brothers, Nick Havens, Andrew (Susie) Havens; five sisters, Jeanne Hart, Barbara Havens, Melody Havens, Teresa (Dave) Whitman, Patricia Havens; two sisters-in-laws, Peggy Havens, Deloris Havens, his former wife, Reva Jo Estes, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Havens and Raymond Havens.

Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Owl Creek Cemetery, with Mark Yarnell officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford.
