Funeral services with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday for Pvt. Donald Lee Hutchinson, 21, of 5332 Coolidge Avenue, Sciotoville, who was killed in action in Korea on May 27, 1951.
James Dickey Post, American Legion, is in charge of the funeral. Services will be held at Sciotoville Christian Church with Curt Hess, minister, officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Burial Park Cemetery under the direction of Gill Funeral Home. The body is at the residence, 5332 Coolidge Avenue.
Pvt. Hutchinson was born April 17, 1928, on Bonser Run, a son of Logan and Esta Boggs Hutchinson. He was educated in Minford schools and worked in the National Sheet & Tube Steel Company Mill in Lorain prior to entering the service in September 1950. He was trained at Camp Atterbury, Indiana, and was sent to Korea in January 1951.
Pvt. Hutchinson is survived by his mother and brother, Rexel, at home, his father, address unknown, and a sister, Mrs. Kathleen Bentley of South Portsmouth.
