Donna Joann Jones, 75, of Minford, went to be with the Lord Sunday, April 6, 2014, at SOMC Hospice.

Born August 30, 1938, in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Robert and Hazel Ramey Brunton, she was a 1956 Minford High School graduate, operated a Beauty Shop, was a former employee of William's Shoe Factory and attended Dry Run Church of Christ.

 

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Donald W. Jones; one son, Mark (Erica) Jones of Minford; two grandchildren, Eli Jones and Ava Jones; one brother, Grover (Betty) Brunton of Waynesville; and three nieces, Kim, Karen and Kristi.

 

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Mark Seavers, minister, officiating. Burial will be a Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
