Eleanor M. (Allen) Machuga
Age 88, of Canton passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 in Stone Crossing Care Center following an extended illness. She was born May 28, 1924 in South Webster, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Noble and Fannie Allen. She was a member of St. Anthony All Saints Parish.
Eleanor is survived by her husband of 65 years, Edward A. Machuga; sons, Ed (Miriam) and David (Martha) Machuga; daughter, Colleen (Greg) Caley; brother, Roger (Ramona) Allen; grandchildren, Jennifer Shafer, Julia (Coy) Pierce, Joseph and James Machuga; great-grandchildren, Felicia Machuga, Brittley and Paige Pierce; step-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Pojo.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. The Machuga family extends their deepest appreciation to Dr. Johnson for his compassionate care, Dr. Mark Stachel and all the caring people at Stone Crossing Care Center. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Stark County Humane Society.
