Frances E. Butcher Hamilton

MINFORD- Frances Hamilton, 87 of Minford died Saturday, June 07, 2014 in Huntington, West Virginia.
Born July 9, 1926 in Scioto County, a daughter of the late Mark and Marie (Eckhart) Butcher, she was a civilian employee for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base for 29 years, and a 1944 graduate of Minford High School.
She is survived by a son, Rodney (Gina) Hamilton of Deltona, Florida; a brother, Bill (Alice) Butcher of Minford; a grandson, Bryan (Christy) Hamilton of Minford; two great grandchildren, Ty and Bryson Hamilton of Minford; eight nieces and nephews, Teresa (Rob) Harrell, Mike (Tomi) Butcher, Mark (Chris) Butcher, Terry (Mirian) West, Tracey West, Regina (Ned) Cox, Diane Kirby, Barbara (Terry) Vallano, and a special friend, Cheryl Wilcox.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Paris Hamilton, on October 16, 1999, and a brother Maurice Butcher.
Funeral services will be conducted Noon Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Ed Cox officiating. Burial will be in Butcher Cemetery on White Gravel Road. Friends may call at the funeral home two hours prior to the service on Tuesday.
