Gregory Shawn Cook, 27, of Minford, Ohio, died Sunday, January 1 at the Cable-Huntington Hospital.

 

A native of Logan County, Ohio, he was born October 1, 1978 to Clark Cook and Teresa Taylor Cook of Minford, Ohio.

 

He was a construction worker and member of Sunshine Church of Christ of Minford, Ohio.

 

Survivors include one brother, Brad Gooch of Lexington; and one sister, Amanda Cook of Minford, Ohio.

 

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 4, at the McKinney Baptist Church with Rev. David Gambrel officiating.  Burial was in Cook's Point Cemetery in Kings Mountain.

 

Active pallbearers were Jason Taylor, Ronnie Cook, Curtis Cook, Brandon Fields, Scott Taylor, Gary Taylor, Stephen Reed, and Kyle Coulter.

 

Spurlin Funeral Home of Stanford was in charge of arrangements.
