Gwyneth Maria Kayser, 89, died Friday, December 31, 2010.

She was born December 23, 1921 in Gaspe, Quebec, Canada to the late Clarence and Gladys Cunning.

 

She grew up in Scioto County and has lived in the Columbus area for over fifty years.

 

She was a very active member of the First Church of the Nazarene in New Albany, played a mean game of Scrabble and Dominos, and liked traveling.

 

She loved her children and grandchildren who fondly called her Oma.

 

She was married for fifty six years to Omer Kayser who preceded her in death in 1997. She is also preceded by a sister Edie Montgomery.

 

She is survived by two sons Tom (Diane) Kayser, Greenacres, WA and David (Cindy) Kayser, Johnstown, OH, seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, brother Al Cunning, many nieces, nephews and friends.

 

Family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd.

 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 AM at First Church of the Nazarene, New Albany with Pastor Larry McNutt officiating. Interment to follow in Glen Rest Memorial Estates. Memorial contributions may be made to First Church of the Nazarene, 6000 Johnstown Rd., New Albany, OH 43054.
