Hazel Elnor Blakeman Cross

LANCASTER - Hazel E. Cross, 80, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008 in her residence.
She was born Dec. 18, 1927 in Scioto County, the daughter of the late Orville and Goldie (Fields) Blakeman.
She is survived by her husband, James Cross; children, Rene A. Morris, Teresa (James) Azbell and David (Jenny) Cross; grandchildren, Scott Talamantes, Tisha (Gary) Talamantes-Burns, Jamie Morris, Nathan Azbell and Dustin (Geneva) Azbell; great grandchildren, Kaleb Burns, Kylee Burns and Blake Azbell; sisters, Norma Jean Wiseman and Mabel Blakeman; brother-in-law Paul Cross.
She was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ben and Flora Cross; sister-in-law, Grace Frank; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Emerson and Pearl Holter.
Memorial contributions may be made to, FairHoPe Hospice, Pickering House or the Fairfield County Meals on Wheels program in her memory.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service in the Halteman-Fett and Dyer Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday in the funeral home with the Pastor Phyllis Riggs officiating. Burial will take place Friday at 1 p.m. in Bennett Cemetery, Minford.
