Heather Rochelle Brooks, 31, of Minford, died Thursday, April 16, 2009, at Mid American Cancer Treatment Center in Zion, Ill.
She was born April 23, 1977, in Portsmouth, a daughter of Larry and Yolonda Treadway Rhine of Minford. She was a cosmetologist and attended Madison Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Matt Brooks whom she married July 9, 2005; one son, Dylan Brooks, at home, and one sister, Linsi Rhine of Minford.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2009, at Madison Missionary Baptist Church, with Kevin Gullion officiating. Burial will be at Bennett Cemetery in Minford. Friends may call at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford
from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and one hour before the service on Monday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dylan Brooks name to the Heather Brooks Family Benefit account at any area Desco Federal Credit Union.
