Henry Earl Coriell, 59, of Coriell Road, Portsmouth, died Saturday, December 24, 2011, at his residence.
Born January 19, 1952, in Portsmouth; a son of Marie E. (Nourse) Mower-Coriell, of Sciotoville, and the late Ira Maurice Coriell, he was a security shift commander for USEC in Piketon.
He was a member of Sunshine Church of Christ, served in the National Guard, graduate of Minford High School in the class of 1969 and was an avid golfer.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Pamela (Thompson) Coriell; three daughters, Christina Marie Coriell-Law of Lucasville, Michael Renee Coriell of Portsmouth, Alvetta Nicole Spriggs of McDermott; five grandchildren, Rhiannon, Alanna, Nolan, Elijah, Arabella: a brother, Ira (Robin) Coriell of Portsmouth; a sister, Jessie (Randy) Glass of Florida, and a sister-in-law Cathy Coriell of Minford.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Emerson R. Coriell on Aug. 29, 2008.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, at Sunshine Church of Christ near Minford with Jamie Riley and Steve Miller, ministers officiating. Burial will be in Batterson Cemetery on Gampp Lane. Friends may call at the Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and one-hour prior to the service on Wednesday at Sunshine Church of Christ.
