Homer Hobart Dever

Homer Hobart Dever, 82, died Thursday afternoon, May 24, 2012 at his home in Dunlap.

He was a member of Dunlap Seventh-Day Adventist Church.  He taught for 16 years at Dunlap Seventh-Day Adventist Church School with his wife, Arlene Detamore Dever.

He was preceded in death by wife, Arlene; sister Juanita Martin; brother Denzil Dever. 

He is survived by three daughters:  Lorna Dever, Columbus, NC; Beth (Clayton) Brandt, Dayton, TN; and Ronda Dever, Dunlap; three grandchildren, Ernest (Amber) Brandt, Soddy-Daisy, Kristina (David) Armstrong of Dayton and Wanangwa Dever, Columbus, NC; brother Ralph Dever, Minford.
