James L. Scott

SCOTT, James L. "Jim" age 82 of Miamisburg, OH, formerly of Wheelersburg, OH and Hilton Head, SC, went to be with his Lord, with his loving family by his side on Thursday June 4, 2009, at home.
He was born August 12, 1926, to the late Rev. T.G. and Norman Scott.
He was a retired educator for the Minford and South Webster School System and the owner of Car Jim Enterprises (Village Cleaners).
He was a member of Wheelersburg United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, Rosemary Glenn Scott; his son, Mike (Nellie) Scott of Milton, WV; his daughter, Julie (Gene) Evans of Miamisburg, OH; 2 granddaughters, Lori (Brad) Rice of Miamisburg, OH and Melissa (Jeff) Holmes of Portsmouth, OH; a grandson, CW04 Jay (Tracy) Brewer of Hawaii; 3 great-grandsons, Willie and Bradley Rice and Caden Holmes; 2 great-granddaughters Natasha Brewer and Casey Holmes; 3 brothers, Gayle of Sanibel, FL, Virgil of Franklin Furnace, OH and David of Minford, OH; 2 sisters, Lelia Gilmore of Minford, OH and Ella Coburn of Portsmouth, OH.
A Celebration of his Life will be held Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 4:00 pm at home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine or Crossroads Hospice of Dayton. Special thanks to all the friends of Crossroads Hospice of Dayton.
