Joanna Sue Powell

 October 2, 1947 - March 28, 2021

Joanna Sue Powell, 73, of Portsmouth passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 at River Run Healthcare of Portsmouth.  Born October 2, 1947 in Scioto County, a daughter of the late Herman and Cora J. McCoy Powell, she was a 1965 Minford High School graduate and a former computer word process operator.

She is survived by cousins.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Eleanor L. Powell.  A special thanks to River Run Healthcare for the love and care of Joanna.

Graveside services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Friday, April 2, 2021 at Bennett Cemetery in Minford. Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford.
