Judy Pickelheimer, 71, a loving wife and mother, peacefully moved to her new heavenly home in the early morning last Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011.
She won her 20-year battle with cancer, but her body did not survive. She is at peace in heaven with her new perfect body that will never experience anything but good health forever. Singing the praises of our Lord Jesus.
She was born Dec. 27, 1939, in Portsmouth, OH, and graduated from Minford High School in 1957.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Marion; her mother, Gertrude Vaughters; and her son, Bruce. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Bruce; her sons, Bill (Vicki), Doug (Kris) and Greg (Stacey); her daughter, Linda (Ron) Haught; siblings, Bill (Donna), Art (Willa) and Sharon (Floyd) Ward; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The memorial service/celebration of her live will be at Faith Community United Methodist Church, 100 Country Club Drive, Xenia, OH 45385, on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011. Pastor Brad Olson will lead the service and give the message. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., service at 11 a.m.
McColaugh Funeral Home handled all of the arrangements for her cremation.
