Justin Ricky Stowers, 30, of Minford, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013. Born Jan. 17, 1983, in Scioto County, a son of Donald H. Stowers and Ingrid Dials Stowers, he was a Minford High School graduate in the Class of 2001 and was an air traffic controller in the Navy.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Ryan Stowers of Lucasville; paternal grandmother, Joy Eggers of Lucasville; maternal grandparents, William R. and Lotte Dials of Portsmouth; one uncle, Doug Dials of Florida; two aunts, Rosita Hansen of North Carolina, Dee Dee Rolen of Roanoke, Va., a special niece, Alaina Stowers of Minford, and cousins, Jason Pruitt of Paw Paw, W.Va., Erica Stowers-Thaler of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Brandon Rolen of Roanoke, Va., Joey Dials of Columbus, and Kayla Dials of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Mawmaw Huffman; grandfather, Charles Eggers; his uncle, Ricky Stowers; and a cousin, Charlie Dials. He was loved, and will be missed by many friends and family.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home, 6710 Swauger Valley Road in Minford with Pastor Ralph Clay and Pastor Ed Cox officiating. Burial will be at Squire Cemetery in Minford. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
