LORI ELAINE BENNINGTON
December 17, 1963 - December 10, 2018

MINFORD —Lori Elaine Bennington, 54, of Minford passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, December 10th in Los Angeles, CA.

She was born December 17, 1963 in Portsmouth to Joe E. and Loretta Ann (Walker) Bennett.

Anyone who knew Lori, knew she was fun-loving, compassionate, and supportive, but above all, she had a servant's heart and a deep love for the Lord. Her commitment to her church and her prayerful heart extended into everything she did and inspired others. She was a shining light in the lives of her family and friends. Lori was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin.

A familiar face in the community, Lori was an employee of Minford Pharmacy for 25 years. All who came through the door were always greeted with Lori's infectious smile and her kind words.

Lori is survived by her mother Loretta Bennett, her husband Tom Bennington, whom she married May 24, 1986, a son Derek Bennington of Missoula, Montana, and a daughter Kara (Logan) Conkey of Dayton, Ohio. Lori is also survived by three sisters: Suzanne (Ron) Duelley of Minford, Ohio, Lisa (Rick) Heintzelman of Ligonier, Indiana, Julie (Mark) Price of Minford, Ohio and one brother, Michael (Julia) Bennett of Minford, Ohio. She also has several nieces and nephews whom she loved and adored.

Lori was preceded in death by her father, Joe E. Bennett in February 2018.

Visitation will be held at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford on Tuesday, Dec 18th from 5-8pm.

A celebration of Lori's life will be held at Life Point Church in Portsmouth, Ohio on December 19th at 2pm with a one-hour visitation preceding. All are encouraged to come and rejoice the life and love of Lori.

Burial services will be held at Bennett Cemetery in Minford.
