MARILYN MONTGOMERY ELAINE KAUT
January 24, 1940 - June 27, 2018 

AKRON — On Wednesday, 27 June 2018, Marilyn Elaine Kaut finished her life journey and went home to be with the Lord, entering that house with many mansions that He had prepared for her (John 14:2). Marilyn was born 24 January 1940, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ossie Ray and Clara Leona (Trimble) Montgomery. She was a 1958 graduate of Minford High School. Marilyn will always be remembered as a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and dedicated follower of Jesus Christ. She was a longtime resident of Akron, Ohio and a member of the First Church of God, Tallmadge, Ohio. Her kindness, compassion, and giving nature will never be forgotten. Her smile and sense of humor will forever be missed. She was especially fond of her precious grandchildren, greatly enjoying her time with them, and faithfully attending their many school activities.

Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, George Ackley Kaut; sons Kevin Patrick (Pidge Klicman) Kaut of Rootstown, Ohio and Steven Ray (Maryann Lynn) Kaut of Akron; grandchildren Joshua, Caleb, Kylie, and Jacob, Mason; sisters Dorothy Ann (Daniel) Gilbert of Minford, and Rita Kay (Jerry) Ruby of Wheelersburg. The family wishes to convey their special heartfelt thanks to the caring staff, and "extended family", of Mulberry Gardens Memory Care, Munore Falls, Ohio, and ClearPath Hospice, Akron, Ohio.

Final urn placement arrangements will be decided and conducted at a date later this year. Her life and legacy will be memorialized uniquely and often during the coming years.
