Mildred Lou Noel, 76, of Minford, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at SOMC Hospice.

Born February 27, 1935, in Scioto County, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Elsie Mae Lindamood Pierce.

She was retired from Scioto County Joint Vocational School and was a member of Twin Valley Missionary Baptist Church. Mildred ministered selflessly as a Pastor’s wife.

She is survived by her husband, of 58 years, Pastor Donald Noel; one son, Rick Noel of Minford; two daughters, Linda (Ron) Day of Wheelersburg, Joyce (Tim) Burton of Jackson, Mississippi; four grandchildren, Randy (Shelly) Day, Alisha (Ryan) Justice, Erik Noel, Kaylee Rase; two step grandchildren, Michael and Aaron Burton; two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Samuel Justice; two step great-grandchildren, Tyler and Taryn Magulac; one brother, Roy Pierce; and two sisters, Elsie Johnson and Alice Blanton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter-in-law, Donna J. Noel; one son-in-law, Daniel Rase; three brothers, Charles Pierce, Kenneth Pierce, Harold Pierce; and one sister, Mary Lester.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011, at Twin Valley Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Brown officiating.

Burial will be at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Friends may call at the church on Friday, November 4, 2011, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford.
