Funeral services were to be held today in Mesa, Ariz. , for Mont V. ( Jack) Evans, 53, a former resident of Minford.

Evans died Friday at Mesa, Arizona where he was retired from the U. S. Air Force.

Evans formerly lived in Columbus and was graduated from Minford High School in the class of 1944.

 

He was a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by four daughters, Sharon, Patty, Terry and Monty and a son Bruce.
Also surviving are brothers, David E. Evans of Ashland, KY., John L. Evans 5704 Kentland Ave., Sciotoville, and Alva B. Evans of Columbus.

Burial was to take place at Mountian View Memorial Garden in Mesa.
