Paula Jean Dixon Nelson

June 12, 1946 - July 18, 2018

Paula Jean Nelson, 72, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018.

She was born June 12, 1946 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Paul and Anna Stout Dixon.  She was a 1964 graudate of Minford High School and retired from Lennox Industries and Techneglass.

Paula was a loving mother who cared and served those who were around her.  She enjoyed spending time outdoors and looking up at the stars on a clear, summer night.  She was excellent at completing crossword puzzles and answering all of the questions on each night's Jeopardy show.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in deathby her sister, Anna Holiday; Paula is survived by her husband of 32 years, Bill Nelson; children Angie (Steve) Walton, Pam Clay, and Butch Nelson; grandchildren, Cheyenne Walton, Lucas Clay and Clara and Haleigh Nelson; siblings Janet Maddox, Marvin (Rosie) Dixon, Jim (Joni) Dixon and Mary Dixon all from Minford, Ohio; and many nieces, nephews and friends.  A private graveside service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to the Schoedinger Grove City Chapel.  Contributions in Paula's memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
