PHILLIP STEPHEN SANTO, 67, of Huntington, died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005, at his residence. Funeral Liturgy will be held Friday at 10 a.m., St. Joseph Catholic Church with Monsignor Lawrence Luciana officiating.

 

Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery with military graveside rites by the Veterans Honor Guard.

 

He was born Oct.14, 1937, in Columbus, Ohio, a son of the late Gabriel and Genevieve Hodge Santo.

 

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Tim Santo.

 

He was a retired salesman for State Aerial. He was an Army Veteran of the Lebanon Crisis. He attended The Ohio State University and Sorbonne University in Paris, France.

 

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

 

He is survived by his wife, Alice Ann DePrie Santo; five daughters, Stephanie Santo of Huntington; Allison Santo of Ocala, Fla.; Sarah Santo of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; Rachael Santo Brickett and her husband, Brian, of Huntington, and Mary Alice Santo of Huntington; two grandchildren, Phillip Regis Brickett and Sydney Brianne Brickett; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Ruth Santo of Cleveland, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.

 

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Hospice of Huntington. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Beard Mortuary.
