Regional Competition

The Quiz Bowl team competed in the Ohio Southeast Regional tournament at Ohio University - Lancaster in a field of 13 teams where the top two ranked teams would qualify for State next month. We made it to round 5 of 7 in a double elimination tournament, won three matches and lost two, and finished tied for 4th overall. It was the deepest run we've ever made in regionals and our highest final ranking ever. Here are the final top 4 rankings in our region:
* 1st place: Bexley
* 2nd place: Lancaster Fisher Catholic
3rd place: Olentangy
4th place (tie): Minford and Licking Heights
* Bexley and Fisher Catholic received the State qualifying bids
