Ralph William Burchett, 54, of Minford, died Friday, December 10, 2010 at his residence.

Born January 18, 1956 in Scioto County, a son of E. Halcard and Jannettia Graham Burchett of Minford, he was a truck driver, mechanic, farmer, cook and welder.

He attended New Hope Baptist Church, Charity Freewill Baptist Church and Harrison Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one daughter, April (Aaron) Burchett of Minford; one grandson, Daniel Burchett of Minford; one brother, Stephen Ray (Teresa) Burchett of Minford; one sister, Lori (Steve) Seibert of Minford; three nephews, Steven Burchett, Jared McLaughlin and Seth (Kristen) McLaughlin; one great nephew, Braden McLaughlin and one great niece, Hannah McLaughlin.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Randal & Matthew Burchett and one sister, Bethel Burchett in infancy.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2010 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Bud Mefford officiating. Burial will be at Bennett Cemetery in Minford.
