Raymond Michael Havens, 65, of Minford, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. 

He was born December 1, 1944 in Minford, Ohio.  He was the son of the late Chester Edwin Havens and Sylvia Ann Warren Havens. 

Ray was a veteran serving with the United States Army and retired rural mail carrier.  He is survived by his wife Peggy Havens (Lowe), daughter Brandy Williamson (Potter) of Point Pleasant, West Virginia; two grandsons, , sisters, Jeanne Ann Hart, Barbara Ruth Havens, Melody Diane Havens, Teresa Lynn Whitman, Patricia Jane Havens; brothers, Dan Dean Havens, Kirk Nixon Havens, Andrew Joseph Havens; several nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Havens.

Private services are under the direction of the Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.  Online condolences may be made to http://www.edafh.com/
