Robert A. Walter
March 14, 1931 - April 21, 1970

Robert A. Walter, 39, of Columbia, Tennessee, a former Wheelersburg resident, died Tuesday at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee of injuries received in an automobile accident April 13 at Portland, Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Wilma Jean Marcum Walters; his mother, Mrs. Clara B. Walter of Minford; three daughters, Marianne, Patricia, and Rebecca Walter; and three sons, David, John and Robert Walter all at home; a sister, Mrs. Roy Lee of Thief River Falls, Minnesota; and three brothers, John and William Walter both of Minford, and Charles Walter of Phoenix, Arizona.

Services are to be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Columbia, with interment in Polk Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are under the direction of Williams Funeral Home at Columbia.
