Robert David Wilson

Robert D. Wilson, 90, of Circleville, died April 27, 2012 at Hillcrest Manor. He was born March 18, 1922 in Scioto Co. the son of George B. and Grace E. (Snodgrass) Wilson. Robert was an Army Air Corps veteran of WWII, was a self-employed carpenter, was a member of Community United Methodist Church, where he was active in local mission work, Masonic Lodge #23 F & AM and was active in Habitat for Humanity.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Elizabeth (Burns) Wilson and sister Joan Parks.
He is survived by his daughter Carolyn (Sam) Cupp of Circleville, son David (Teryl Seitz) Wilson of Circleville, grandchildren Charlene (Roland) Mitchell, Sam Cupp, Chris (Angie) Cupp, Andy (Candace), Tyler and Elizabeth Wilson, great-grandchildren Maddox, Madelyn, Kelsey, Addison, Logan and Austin, sisters Mary Francis Wilson, Ellen Murphy and Kay Blackburn and several nieces and nephews.
A special thank you goes to his good friends and neighbors. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday May 2, 2012 at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Pastor Barry Burns officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity or Fayette County Hospice.
