Salem School
The Salem School was located across the road from the current church on Salem Road in Madison Township.
In 1903 the school housed 53 students. The teacher earned $33 per month.
Bids were taken in 1927 to build a new structure.

On May 6, 1929, bonds were advertised for sale for $3,600 to help with cost of building of a new Salem School.
In September of 1930, William T. Bennett was awarded a contract to transport high school students from Salem to Minford.
