PORTSMOUTH — Shasta Maxine Skaggs, 31, of Portsmouth, died Monday March 13, 2017 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth

She was born May 13, 1985 in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of Marshall Vernon Mace and Dinah Sherry "Susie" Cade Cornell of Wheelersburg. Shasta was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Shasta's favorite saying "Love Your Beautiful Face"

She was preceded in death by her father Lonnie Cornell; one niece, Nicole Lynne.

She is survived by her six siblings, Sherry (James) Maisenbacher; Lonnie (Kristian) Cornell; Ike (Mary) Cornell; Heather Elliott; Delbert "Bucky" Skaggs; April (John) Pritchard; nieces, Gracie Jo, Hayleigh, Shelby, Sara, Anna-Marie, Isabella, Brooklyn and Nicole; nephews, Brian, Brandon C., Blake, Brandon M., Devon, Joseph, Collin, Alex, Camren, LK, Brandon Kyle, Greg and Dallas.

Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday March 19, 2017 at the Davis Funeral Home in South Webster with Chaz Horsley officiating and interment in Vernon Cemetery

Friends may call on Saturday from 3-7 p.m. and from 12- 1 prior to the services at the Davis Funeral Home in South Webster.
